Messages such as the following may be displayed on the LCD monitor during camera operation.

CF card full	The CF card memory is full and no more
	images can be saved. Insert a new CF card
	or delete unwanted images. (p.13, p.74)
	Change the quality/size and try again. (p.36,
	p.37)

No image	There are no images on the CF card.

Camera can not display	You are trying to play back an image in a
this image.	format not supported by this camera. You
	may be able to display it on another brand
	of camera or PC.

No card in camera.	There is no CF card in the camera. (p.13)

Battery depleted.	The battery is exhausted. Charge the NiMH
	batteries using a battery charger or replace
	with new batteries. (p.10, p.11)

Memory card error.	Shooting and playback are impossible due
	to a problem with CF card. Try displaying
	on a PC.

This card is not formatted.	The card you have inserted is unformatted
	or has been formatted on PC or other
	device. (p.94)

Image recording...	The image is being recorded on the CF card.

Movie recording...	The movie picture is being recorded on the
	CF card.

Changing setting	The protect setting or DPOF setting is
	being changed.

Formatting	The CF card is being formatted.
