Setting Power Saving

By setting the LCD monitor to dim automatically when you leave the camera without performing any operations for a certain period, you can lessen battery depletion. When Power Saving takes effect and the LCD monitor dims, press any button to return to the ordinary brightness.

1 Select [Power Saving] on the [B Set-up] menu. 2 Press the four-way controller (5).

The pull-down menu appears.

3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [2 min], [1 min], [30 sec], [15 sec], [5 sec] or [Off].

4 Press the Q Playback button.

The camera is ready to play back images.

The Power Saving function will not work in the following conditions.

•In Playback mode

•When the USB cable is connected

•While taking movies
