uCaution

•Do not remove the memory card while the card access lamp is lit.

•If the card cover is opened while the power is on, the camera will turn off. Do not open the cover while the camera is in use.

•Use this camera to format (initialize) a memory card that is unused or has been used on other devices. (p.26)

•Use a high-speed memory card when recording movies. If a write speed cannot keep up with a recording speed, the writing may stop during recording.

1 Press the power switch.

Press the switch again to turn off the camera.

The first time the camera is

turned on after purchasing, the [Language/W] screen appears.

•The power will automatically turn off when you do not perform any operations within a set period of time. (Default setting: 1min.) You can change the setting in [Auto Power Off] of the D3 menu.

Setting the Display Language

1 Use ABCDto select the desired language and press E.
