Q:What is a USB hub ?
A:A USB hub provides additional connections to the Universal Serial Bus. A hub's upstream port connects a hub to the host, usually a PC. Multiple downstream ports in a hub allows connection to another hub or device, such as a USB keyboard, camera or printer.
Q:What is a USB plug ?
A:A USB plug is not the USB hub. It provides adapting connection from upstream to downstream for convenient peripheral connection only. Single downstream port in a plug allows connection to one device.
Recommended USB cable length should be not over than 1.8m to maintain full high speed capability. Also, USB 2.0 compatible cable must be applied to make sure full speed capability.
