Selecting a picture mode

To select a picture mode, press 影像模式 (Picture Mode) on the remote control. This enables you to select from the following settings:

Picture mode

Description

Standard

Suitable for viewing in environments with normal lighting

condition.

 

Film

In this mode, the contrast and levels of colors are optimized

in order to display more details in the bright and dark areas of

 

images.

Sports

The contrast, brightness and color saturation are enhanced for

displaying vivid images in public areas.

 

Studio

Images are displayed with moderate brightness and contrast,

making it suitable for prolonged viewing.

 

Personal

Your own customised picture mode.

See "Setting up Personal Picture mode" on page 19 for how to setup the Personal Picture Mode.

Adjusting aspect ratio

Press 畫面比例 (Aspect) on the remote control to cycle through available aspect ratios. The table below shows the resulting images in relation to the input image when different aspects are selected:

Available aspect ratio options are dependent on the selected input signal type.

To avoid possible "image retention“ or "screen burn-in“ on the LCD screen, it is recommended that you change the aspect ratio from time to time, and prevent the display from displaying a static image for a prolonged period of time.
