9 Troubleshoot basic problems
This section describes commonly encountered issues and accompanying
solutions.
The TV does not communicate with the external interactive terminal:
Press RECALL on the setup remote control. Check that the status of
communication is: “COMMUNICATION SP-SPI ONLINE”.
•If the communicat ion protocol in the statu s is not SP-SPI, set
the communicati on protocol by following the ins tructions in the
previous chapter.
•If the communicat ion status is OFFLIN E, check that the R J12
cable and the othe r cables are connected p roperly.
The letter ‘F’ appears on the screen:
•If the letter ‘ F’ appears on the scre en, it indicates that t he TV
is in factory m ode. To restore the TV to nor mal settings, pre ss
VOLUME (-) and P/CH (-) buttons o n the side of the TV,
simultaneou sly for a few seconds.
