■Control: “Digit T imeout”, “3-Digit Entry ”, “Step Tuning”,
“HDMI-CEC”
■This section allows t he Installer to customizes the
Control and Per formance settings of the TV.
■Digit Timeout - Th is function enables the set ting of the
timeout (in seconds) betwe en digit key presses during
TV channel changing. It i s advisable not to specify too
short a time pe riod especially when you want to key in 2
or 3 digit channel numbe rs. Recommended and default
setting is 3.0 secon ds
■3-Digit Entr y - This function enables /disables 3-digit
entries during T V channel changing.
■Step Tuning - This function enabl es/disables channel
tuning at each digit key pres s. Set to Yes, each digit key
press will per form a channel tuning instead of wait ing for
the entire 2 or 3 digit s to be entered completely.
■HDMI-CEC - T his function enables/disable s the end user
CEC functionali ty available on this TV.
■Energy Saving Fea tures: “Smart Power”, “Auto Sense”,
“ESP”, “Stan dby Mode”
■Smart Power – This fea ture enables the customiza tion of
the power consumption of the T V. Set to High, savings in
power consumption is typica lly around 50% as compared
to when set to Off in ma ximum backlight setting.
■Auto Sense - This feature w ill enable/disable the
Light sensor of the T V. If enabled, the ambient light
conditions of the room w ill be measured to automati cally
configure the opti mum power consumption and picture
performance of t he TV, according to the room ambience
conditions .
■ESP - This feature ena bles the customization of the
duration (in hour s) after which TV will automatica lly turn
off if there is no use r interaction via remote cont rol or
keyboard. Set to 0 = disabl ed.
■Standby Mode - This feat ure enables the customizat ion
of the TV stand by behavior. Set to Standard, the TV w ill
consume the least power d uring standby, but star tup
time will be longer and hospi tality communication is not
possible. Set to Fas t, the TV will be best per forming in
terms of turn- on time and hospitality comm unication is
also available, but powe r consumption will be higher.
■Customizable U I feature: “Background C olor Theme”,
“Background D esign Theme”
• This function enables the customization of the TV’s
Graphical User Interface via selection of colors and
themes.
• Background Color Theme - This feature enables the
customization of the background color of the menus,
to create a common brand recognition with the hotel
property.
• Background Design Theme - This feature enables
customized background designs to be included and
used as the background for User Interface menus. Like
the Welcome Logo and the Hotel Logo, these also
need to be in the png format. A transparency of <
65% is recommended. For the images and sizes see
appendix A.
■Programmable U I feature : This feature is availabl e to
those with advanced Fla sh(R) Lite(R) programming
capabilities.
