■Upgrade Type: “All”, ”Softw are Upgrade Package”,
“Softwa re Asset Package”
■This section Sele ct the type of softwar e to be upgraded
to the TV.
• If set to ALL, then all software types (Software Upgrade
Package and Software Asset Package) will be upgraded
automatically.
• If set to Software Upgrade Package, there is an option
to selectively upgrade individual software components
such as main software, standby software and back-end
software.
• If set to Software Asset Package, there is an option
to selectively upgrade individual software assets
such as Hotel Logo, Channel Logo, Welcome Logo,
Customizable UI, Programmable UI and SmartModule
Clone Data.
■SW Version Check: “ Yes”, “No” - If set to Yes, this
feature causes the T V to perform a version che ck of
the TV upgrade s oftware to ensure that onl y a newer
version will be ins talled.
■Start - This fu nction will initiate the T V upgrading
process.
■SmartUpda te: “Yes”, “No” - This function enables/
disables the Smar tUpdate feature of the T V. If set to Yes,
then SmartU pdate will automatically check for new T V
upgrades daily, at the tim e specified in the Smar tUpdate
Schedule step bel ow, and upgrade the TV softw are
and/or clone data if newer ver sions are found. Like all
previous RF download fun ctions, this too requires a PSG
to be installed in the p roperty head end.
■SmartUpda te RF Channel: This function s elects the
RF channel number wh ere the TV will search for
SmartUpda te data (if SmartUpdat e is enabled).
■SmartUpda te Schedule : This function allows En tering
the time of the day when th e TV will search for
SmartUpda te data (if SmartUpdat e is enabled).
