Update using a USB device
Con nect your USB device to the U SB port at
the side of your T V.
1 If the softwar e update screen does not
appear automatically, select [Setup] >
[Soft ware update] > [Local updates] .
2 Press OK to upd ate the TV softwar e
manually.
3 Follow the on-scre en instructions to
complete the update.
Note
The T V restar ts after the sof tware update is •
complete.
Change TV preferences
Use the preferences menu to cus tomize your
TV settings.
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [Setup] > [Installation] >
[Preferences] .
• [Location] : Optimizes T V settings for
your location - home or shop.
• [Volume bar] : D isplays the volume
bar when you adjus t the volume.
• [EasyLink] : Enables one-touch play
and one-touch s tandby between
EasyLink-compliant devices.
• [Pixel Plus Link] : Overrid es the
settings of co nnected devices and
uses the set tings of the TV.
• [E-sticker] : For shop mode o nly. Sets
the location of t he e-sticker.
3 Press MENU to exit.
Disconnect a USB storage device
Caution
Follo w this procedure to avoi d damage to your •
USB stora ge device.
1 Press BACK to exi t the USB browser.
2 Wait for ve second s then disconnect the
USB stora ge device.
Update the TV software
Philips continuously tries to improve its
products and we recommend that you update
the TV software when updates are available.
Check www.philips.com/support for availability.
Check the current software version
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [Setup] > [Soft ware update] >
[Current soft ware] .
The TV displays the current software »
information.
Download the software
1 On your PC, open a web b rowser and go
to www.philips.com/support.
2 Download the lates t software upgr ade
le to your PC .
3 Decompress the ZI P- le.
4 Copy the le to th e root directory of t he
USB device.
