If t here are intermit tent sound
disruptions, check that output settings
from the HDM I device are correc t.
If you u se an HDMI-to-DVI ad apter
or HDMI to DVI cab le, check that an
additional a udio cable is connecte d to
AUDIO I N (mini -jack o nly).
Computer connection issues
The computer display on the TV is not stable:
Che ck that your PC uses the suppor ted
resolutio n and refresh rate.
Se t the TV picture for mat to unscaled.

Make a n ote of your TV model and se rial
number befor e you contact Phili ps. These
numbers a re printed on the bac k of the TV
and on the pack aging.
The TV did not save your picture settings:
Check that the TV loc ation is set to the
home setti ng. This mode offers you the
exibi lity to change and save set tings.
The picture does not  t the screen; it is too
big or too small:
Try usi ng a different pictu re format.
The picture position is incorrect:
Pic ture signals from som e devices may
not  t the s creen correctly. Ch eck the
signal outpu t of the device.
Sound issues
There is picture but no sound from the TV:

If no au dio signal is detec ted, the TV
automatic ally switches the a udio output off
— this does not in dicate malfunct ion.
Che ck that all cables are pr operly
connecte d.
Che ck that the volume is not set to 0.
Che ck that the sound is not muted .
There is picture but sound quality is poor:
Che ck that the sound setti ngs are
correct ly set.
There is picture but sound comes from one
speaker only:
Veri fy that sound balance is set t o the
center.
HDMI connection issues
There are problems with HDMI devices:
Not e that HDCP (High-ban dwidth Digital
Content Prote ction) support can d elay
the time take n for a TV to display content
from a HDMI d evice.
If t he TV does not recognize th e HDMI
device and no pic ture is displayed, tr y
switching t he source from one device to
another and ba ck again.
