When stand mou nting the TV, use •
only the supplied stand. Secure the
stand to the T V tightly. Place the
TV on a fl at, level surface that can
support the co mbined weight of the
TV and the sta nd.
When wall mounti ng the TV, use •
only a wall mount that c an support
the weight of the TV. Secur e the wall
mount to a wall that can s upport the
combined weight of th e TV and wall

Never place the TV o n a surface •
covered by a cloth or other m aterial
that can be pulled away.
Ensure that no par t of the TV hangs •
over the edge of the sur face.
Never place the TV o n tall furniture •
(such as a bookcase) witho ut
anchoring both th e furniture and T V
to the wall or a suita ble support.
Educate childre n about the dangers •
of climbing on furni ture to reach the
TV.
Risk of overheatin g! Never install the T V •
in a confi ned space. Always le ave a space
of at least 4 inches or 10 cm a round the
TV for ventilation . Ensure curtains or
other objects n ever cover the ventilation
slots on the TV.
Risk of damage to the T V! Before you •
connect the T V to the power outlet,
ensure that the power vo ltage matches
the value printe d on the back of the TV.
Never connect th e TV to the power
outlet if the volt age is different.

water. Never place liquid co ntainers,

liquids are spil t on or into the TV,
disconnect the T V from the power
outlet immedia tely. Contact Philips
Consumer Care to h ave the TV
checked before use.
Never place the TV, re mote control •
or batteries ne ar naked fl ames or
other heat sources , including direct
sunlight.
To prevent the spread of fi re, keep
candles or other fl ames away from
the TV, remote contr ol and batteries
at all times.
Never insert o bjects into the vent ilation •
slots or other open ings on the TV.
When the TV is sw ivelled ensure •
that no strain i s exerted on the
power cord. Strai n on the power
cord can loosen conn ections and
cause arcing.
Risk of short ci rcuit or fi re!•
Never expose the r emote control or •
batteries to r ain, water or excessive
heat.
Avoid force coming onto powe r •
plugs. Loose power plu gs can cause
arcing or fi re.
