EasyLink buttons

You can control E asyLink-complian t devices
with the following bu ttons on the remote
control of your TV.
Button EasyLink function
( Play/
Pause )
Starts, pauses or resumes
playback on your Ea syLink device.
( Stop ) Stops playback on your Eas yLink
device.
( Record ) Starts or s tops video recording
on your EasyLink device.
( Fast
Reverse )
Searches backward.
( Fast
Forward )
Searches forward.
0-9
( Numeric
buttons )
When EasyLink is enabled,
selects a titl e, chapter or track.
Navigates thr ough the menus of
the EasyLink-compliant device.
OK Activates a selection or accesses
the menu of the Easy Link-
compliant device .
OPTIONS
Displays the me nus of the
EasyLink-compliant device. Note
that when ( Home ) is pressed,
the TV menu is displ ayed.
( Standby-
On )
When EasyLink is enabled,
switches the T V and all EasyLink
devices to standby. Note that
you must press and ho ld
( Standby-On ) for at leas t 3
seconds for this to occur.
Tip
Press TV to switch back to the aerial source
from EasyLink mode.
Use Philips EasyLink
Your TV s upports Philips E asyLink, which
uses the HDMI CEC (Cons umer Electronics
Control) protocol. EasyLink-compliant devices
that are connected through HDMI connectors
can be controlled by a s ingle remote control.
Note
Philips do es not guarantee 10 0%
interoperability with all HDMI CEC devices.
Note
The EasyLink-compliant device must be
switched on and selected as the source.

EasyLink features

One-touch play
When you co nnect your TV to devices t hat
support one -touch play, you can control your
TV and the devices w ith one remote contro l.
For example, whe n you press Play on your
DVD remote control, yo ur TV automaticall y
switches to the cor rect channel to show the
DVD content.
One-touch standby
When you co nnect your TV to devices t hat
support st andby, you can use your TV remo te
control to put your TV and all connected
HDMI devices in standby mode.
System audio control
When you co nnect your TV to HDMI
CEC compliant device s, your TV can
switch automati cally to play audio from the
connected device .
To use one-touch aud io, you must map the
audio input from the connected device to
your TV.
You can use the re mote control from the
connected device to a djust the volume.
Remote control (RC) key forwarding
RC key forw arding allows you to control
EasyLink-com pliant devices using your T V
remote control.
