USB connection issues
USB device content is not displayed:
Check that the USB storage d evice is
set to ‘Mass Stora ge Class’ compliant,
as described in th e storage device’s
documentation.
Check that the USB storage d evice is
compatible with the TV.
Check that the audio and pictur e  le
formats are sup ported by the TV.
Audio and picture  les do not play or display
smoothly
The transfer perfor mance of the USB
storage device may l imit the data trans fer
rate to the TV, causin g poor playback.
Computer connection issues
The computer display on the TV is not stable:
Check that a supported res olution and
refresh rate is se lected on the compute r.
Set the TV picture forma t to unscaled.

The picture does not  t the screen; it is too
big or too small:
Try using a different pictur e format.
The picture position is incorrect:
Picture signals from some d evices may
not  t the screen correctly. Check the
signal output of th e device.
Sound issues
There is a picture but no sound from the TV:
Note
If n o audio signal is detec ted, the TV
automatically s witches the audio o utput off
— this does not indic ate malfunction .
Check that all cables are prop erly
connected.
Check that the volume is not set to 0.
Check that the sound is not muted.
There is a picture but the sound quality is poor:
Check that the sound setting s are
correctly set.
There is a picture but sound comes from one
speaker only:
Verify that sound balance is set to t he centre.
HDMI connection issues
There are problems with HDMI devices:
Note that HDCP support ca n delay the
time taken for a TV to di splay content
from a HDMI device .
If the TV does not recognise th e HDMI
device and no pictur e is displayed, try
switching the sou rce from one device to
another and back agai n.
If there are intermit tent sound
disruptions, check that output settings
from the HDMI dev ice are correct.
If a HDMI-to-DVI adaptor or H DMI to
DVI cable is used, chec k that an additional
audio cable is connected to AUDIO L/R
or AUDI O IN (mini-jack only).
