Set the sleeptimer
Sleeptimer switches the TV to stand by after a pre-defi ned period of time.
You can always switch of f your TV earlier or r eset the sleeptimer
during the countdown.
Press SLEEP repeatedly to select a value from 0 t o 180 minutes. For
example, if you select 9 0, the TV switches to s tandby in 90 minutes.
Tip
• To turn th e sleeptimer of f, select 0 minu tes.
Use child control and rating locks
You can prevent your children from watching certain programs or
certain channels by locking the TV controls and by using ratings.
Set or change your PIN
1 Press MENU/EXIT on the remote control an d select [Features]
> [Change PI N] .
2 Enter a 4-digit PIN on t he number buttons of th e remote
control.
• If you ha ve a PIN, enter your curre nt PIN.
• If you d o not have a PIN or if you have forgotte n your PIN,
enter 0711 .
• You are as ked to enter your new 4-digi t PIN again.
3 Enter your PIN again to confi rm.
» A message appears to confi rm that your PIN has been
changed.
4 Press MENU/EXIT to exit.
Lock the TV
This section describes how to lock all channel s on the TV. At the
specifi ed time, screen is blanked out and the audio is muted .
1 Ensure that the clock is set w ith the current time (see ‘Set the
clock’ on page 15 ) .
2 Press MENU/EXIT on the remote control an d select [Features]
> [Child loc k] > [Lock after] .
3 Enter your PIN .
4 Press to select [Timer] .
5 Press to select [On] and activate the [Lock after] feature.
Select [Off] to deactivate the feature .

Set the time manually
1 Press MENU/EXIT on the remote control an d select
[Installation] > [Cl ock] > [Auto clock mode] .
2 Select [Manu al] , and press to confi rm your choice.
3 Press to select [Time] and then press to set the time.
Use the format HH:MM. Select [AM] / [PM] for morning or
afternoon.
4 Press OK to confi rm your choice.
5 Press and to enter the menu for [Day] .
6 Press or to select the day.
7 Press OK to confi rm your choice.
8 Press MENU/EXIT to exit.
