Listen to the incoming messages

You can listen to the incoming messa ges in the
sequence they are record ed.
From the base
• To start/stop list ening, press .
• To adjust the volume, press / .
• To play the previous message/Rep lay the
current message, pr ess .
• To play the next message, pres s .
• To delete the current message , press .
Note
•No deleted messages ca n be recovered.
From the handset
Select [Menu] > > [Play], then press [OK]
to conrm.
»New messages start playing. Old
messages start playing if there is no
new message.
• Press [Back] to stop listeni ng.
• Press [Optio n] to enter the options
menu.
• Press / to increase/decrease the
volume.

Delete an incoming message

From the base
Press when you lis ten to the message.
»The current message is deleted.
From the handset
1 W hen you listen to the messag e, press
[Option] to en ter the options menu.
2 Select [Delete], then press [OK] to
conrm.
»The current message is deleted.

Delete all old incoming messages

From the base
Press and hold in s tandby mode.
»All old messages are permanently
deleted.
From the handset
1 Select [Menu] > > [Delete all], then
press [OK] to conrm.
»The handset displays a conrmation
request.
2 Press [OK] to conrm.
»All old messages are permanently
deleted.
Note
•You can delete the read messa ges only. No
deleted messages can be recovered.

Call screening

You can hear the caller while he is le aving a
message. Press to pick up the call .
From the base
Press / to adjust the speaker volume
during call screening . The lowest volume level
turns off the call scre ening.

Set the sound quality of the message

You can adjust the sound qualit y of the
messages received from t he answering machine .
1 Select [Menu] > > [Msg quality], then
press [OK] to conrm.
2 Se lect the new setting , then press [OK]
to conrm.
»The setting is saved.
