5 Listen to Digital Audio Broadcasts (DAB)Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB), is a way
of broadcasting radio digitally through a
network of transmitters. It provides you with
more choice, better sound quality, and more
information.
For the first time when DAB mode is
switched on.
1 Press SOURCE on th e main unit
repeatedly to select DAB/DAB+.
The system performs auto scan. »
All the available DAB stations are »
stored.

Tip
The display shows a re ctangle. The p osition •
of the rectangl e indicates the degr ee of signal
strength . (The furth er towards the rig ht, the
greater the sign al strength .)
If there is no DAB cover age currently ava ilable,

or DAB signal is too weak in y our area, no
DAB station will b e found, and message li ke
“No Station Foun d, Scan Again” disp lays.

to enter manual seek m ode.
“MANUAL” blinks on LCD screen. »
2 Press / rep eatedly until the the
desired channel/ frequency appear s.
Set RDS clock
You can use time signal that is br oadcast
together with the RDS signal to set the clock
of the unit automati cally.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press / repeated ly until [CT]
displays.
3 Rotate to select a setti ng:
• [CT ON] : Turn on the RDS clock.
Time shown on the uni t synchronizes
with that on the RDS s tation.
• [CT OFF]: Turn off the RD S clock.
Tip
The accuracy of the t ransmitted t ime depends •
on the RDS stati on that transmi ts the time
signal.
