If you encounter problems when using this
apparatus, check the following points before
requesting service. If the problem remains
unsolved, go to the Philips web site (www.
philips.com/welcome). When you contact
Philips, ensure that the apparatus is nearby
and the model number and serial number
are available.
No power
•Ensure that the AC powe r plug of the
unit is connected properly.
•Ensure that the re is power at the AC
outlet.
•Ensure that the b atteries are inse rted
correctly.
No sound
•Adjust the volu me.
No response from the unit
•Disconnect an d reconnect the AC power
plug, then turn on the un it again.
Poor radio reception
•Increase the d istance between th e unit
and your TV or VCR.
•Fully exten d the FM antenna.
Timer does not work
•Set the clock corr ectly.
•Switch on the tim er.
Clock/timer setting erased
•Power has been inter rupted or the power
plug has been disconnec ted.
•Reset the clock/timer.
