1 Press Standby y to turn on the Player.

2 Turn on your TV. Set it to the correct Video In channel. You should see the blue DVD background screen on the TV (if no Disc is in the Player).To find the correct Video In channel, go to your lowest TV channel, then change channels down until you see the blue DVD background screen.The Video In channel will be channel 3 or 4 only if you are using an RF modulator as shown on page 9.

3 Gently insert a Disc into the Disc Slot so about one-third of the Disc is in the slot. From that point, the Player will take the Disc and load it automatically.

Load a single Disc with the label facing LEFT and the shiny side facing RIGHT. If a Disc is two-sided, make sure the label of the side you want to play is facing left when you insert the Disc.

Do not force a Disc into the Disc Slot. If the Player does not immediately accept the Disc, take away the Disc. Press Eject A to make sure there is not a Disc in the Player already.

4 After the Player loads the Disc, play may begin automatically. If not, press Play/Pause 5;BF. Play will stop at the end of the Title or after the last Track.

If DVD play does not start, a Disc menu may appear. If the Title or Chapter selections are numbered, press a Number button to select an item. Or, press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to select an item, then press OK.

5 To stop play at any time, press Stop C once. To resume playing the Disc later from the same point, press Play/Pause 5;BF. This is the LAST PLAY feature.

If you press Stop C twice to stop playing the Disc, play will start at the beginning of the Disc the next time you resume play.
