Before First Use
Before using for the first time, the baking surfaces should be cleaned with a moist cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE UNIT IN WATER.
We recommend lightly greasing the baking surfaces when using for the first time. This will not be necessary on subsequent occasions. The first set of waffles should not be eaten.
Helpful Hints
1Always preheat the Waffle Maker before baking. Plug the Waffle Maker in first, and prepare the batter while the Waffle Maker is heating.
2If you wish to have lighter toasted waffles, remove them before the green ready indicator light goes off (after approximately 4 minutes). Or if you prefer darker toasted waffles, leave them in a little longer time.
3If the lid resists lifting, allow the waffles to bake a little longer, then try lifting the lid again.
4If the waffles stick to the top cooking plates, remove them using a plastic or wooden spatula only. Do not use sharp or metal utensils as they may damage
5Let waffles cool slightly before eating to avoid possible burns.
6Top baked waffles with different fruits or ice cream to create your own specialties.
