Note:When you use ingredients that rise (such as with cake, quiche or muffins) the baking tray should not be filled more than halfway.

Note: Add 3 minutes to the preparation time when you start frying while the airfryer is still cold.

Making home-made fries

To make home-made fries, follow the steps below.

1Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks.

2Wash the potato sticks thoroughly and dry them with kitchen paper.

3Pour ½ tablespoon of olive oil in a bowl, put the sticks on top and mix until the sticks are coated with oil.

4Remove the sticks from the bowl with your fingers or a kitchen utensil so that excess oil stays behind in the bowl. Put the sticks in the basket.

Note: Do not tilt the bowl to put all the sticks in the basket in one go, to prevent excess oil from ending up on the bottom of the pan.

5Fry the potato sticks according to the instructions in this chapter.

Cleaning

Clean the appliance after every use.

The pan, baking tray (HD9225 only), separator, basket and the inside of the appliance have a non- stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.

1Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down.

Note: Remove the pan to let the airfryer cool down more quickly.

The HD9226, for instance, is equipped with a versatile temperature control dial, allowing users to set the desired cooking temperature up to 200 degrees Celsius, suitable for a wide range of recipes.

Another impressive characteristic is the HD9220's compact design, making it an ideal choice for those with limited counter space. Despite its smaller footprint, it does not compromise on cooking capacity. It can comfortably accommodate up to 800 grams of food, perfect for small families or meal prep. The removable non-stick drawer and food basket are dishwasher safe, enhancing convenience and ease of cleanup after cooking.

The HD9225 model brings additional user-friendly features, including a digital touchscreen interface that allows for precise settings and easy navigation.
