BASIC PLAYBACK

1Insert a disc (refer to page 21 on how to insert a disc).

• Media Filter screen appears automatically.

2Select the type of the file you want to play back in the media filter screen. Then press [OK] to display the file list.

“Video” : If you want to play back video files such as DivX® video files, select “Video”.

“Audio” : If you want to play back music files such as Windows Media™ Audio, select “Audio”.

“Picture” : If you want to play back the still images such as JPEG pictures, select “Picture”.

Reading the SD Memory Card

You can play back the MP3/WMA/JPEG files in an SD Memory Card.

With the SD Memory Card, you can also enjoy the following functions.

-Special additional contents for BD-ROM Profile 1 ver.1.1. (For more information about the special additional contents, refer to the instruction book that came with the disc.)

-BD-Livefunction (BD-ROM ver. 2 Profile 2.0). (For more information about BD-Live, refer to page 28.)

3Select a group (folder) or track/file you want to play back. Then press

[PLAY B] or [OK] to start playback.

Refer to “How to Navigate through the Track/ File List” on page 23.

To skip to the next track/file:

Press [NEXT T].

To skip to the previous track/file:

Press [PREV S].

To pause playback:

Press [PAUSE F].

To return to the normal playback:

Press [PLAY B].

To stop playback:

Press [STOP C].

Playback will be in Resume-On-Stop mode.

<Resume-On-Stop mode for audio CD/DivX®> Playback will start from the point where it is stopped next time you press [PLAY B].

If you press [OK] instead of [PLAY B], playback will start from the beginning of the track instead of resuming from the stop point.

<Resume-On-Stop mode for MP3/Windows Media™ Audio/JPEG>

Playback will start from the beginning of the current file next time you press [PLAY B] or [OK].

To go back to the media filter screen : Press [YELLOW] in Resume-On-Stop mode.

To remove the SD Memory Card:

In stop mode, gently push in the SD Memory Card, then pull it out slowly.

Note

In the “SD Card” mode, the resume information will be cleared when;

-[STOPC] is pressed while in the Resume-On-Stop mode.

-the SD Memory Card is removed.

-the unit is turned into the standby mode.

Do not remove the SD Memory Card or turn the unit to the standby mode while the contents of the card are in playback. It may result in malfunction or loss of the card’s data.

Do not delete the folders or files in the SD Memory Card with your computer. This unit may not read the SD Memory Cards formatted on a computer.

When you purchase or rent a DivX® file through the official site of DivX® video which is called DivX® Video On-Demand (VOD) services, a registration code is required every time you get the new file from the DivX® VOD services. Refer to “DivX(R) VOD” in “LIST OF SETTINGS” on page 39.
