RADIO OPERATIONS

Before you start .....

Connect the supplied FM wire antenna to the inner pin of the FM ANT 75jack. Extend the FM antenna and fix its ends to the wall for optimum reception.

Note

For better FM stereo reception, connect an external FM antenna (not supplied).

Position the antenna as far away as possible from your TV, VCR or other radiation source to prevent any unwanted interference.

Tuning to Radio Stations

1)Press [SOURCE] repeatedly until “FM” appears on the front panel display.

2)Press [s / B] on the remote control to start tuning. The frequency indication starts to change until a radio station with sufficient signal strength is found.

3)Repeat step 2) if necessary until you find the desired radio station.

4)To fine-tune the reception of a weak station, press [K / L] briefly and repeatedly until an optimal reception is found.

Selecting a Preset Radio Station

1)Press [SOURCE] repeatedly until “FM” appears on the front panel display.

2)Press [PREV S/ NEXT T] or use

[the Number buttons] to select a preset radio station.

The preset number and radio frequency appear on the front panel display.

Deleting a Preset Radio Station

1)In FM mode, press [PREV S/ NEXT T] to select a preset radio station.

2)Press and hold [STOP C] until “DELETED” appears on the front panel display.

The radio station continues to play but has been deleted from the preset list.

The rest of the preset radio stations remain unchanged.

Presetting Radio Stations

You can store up to 15 FM preset radio stations in the memory. To store the radio stations, follow the following procedure.

1)Tune to your desired radio station (see “Tuning to Radio Stations” on this page).

2)Press [OK].

3)Press [PREV S/ NEXT T] or use [the Number buttons] to select a preset number that you want to store the current radio station.

4)Press [OK] to store.

Note

This unit exits presetting mode if no button is pressed within 20 seconds.

If no stereo signal is detected or less than 5 (five) stations are detected during radio installation, “CHECK ANTENNA” appears on the front panel display.
