Playing a DivX disc

This DVD system supports the DivX movie playback, which you download from your computer onto a CD-R/RW (see page 34 for more information.)

1Load a DivX disc.

➜ Playback will start automatically. If not press PLAY B or OK on the remote.

2If the DivX movie contains external subtitles, the subtitle menu will appear on the TV.

●In this case, pressing SUBTITLE on the remote control will turn on or off the subtitle display.

●If multilingual subtitles are embedded on the DivX disc, you can press SUBTITLE to change the subtitle language while playing.

Helpful Hints:

–Subtitle files with the following filename extensions (.srt, .smi, .sub, .ssa, .ass) are supported but do not appear on the file navigation menu.

–The subtitle filename has to be the same as the filename of the movie.

–The subtitle can only be displayed up to maximum of 35 characters.

–It is normal to experience an occasional pixelation during MPEG-4/DivX playback due to poor clarity of digital contents during internet downloading.

TIPS: Some discs cannot be played on this DVD system due to the configuration and characteristics of the disc, or due to the condition of recording and authoring software that was used.
