After the power supply cable has been unplugged, the indicator light on the base station will start flashing quickly to indicate that the time settings have been erased. To program the day and time again, follow the procedure on page 13.

Changing the name of your base station

￿Press R, then press + to display 6(783. Press o.

Press - until %$6( 1$0( is displayed, then press o.

If the base station has a name, this will be displayed. You can delete the existing name using the +key. If the base station has no name, 1$0(" will be displayed.

Enter the new name (max. 8 characters) using the handset keypad (refer to ìUsing the handset keypad to enter charactersî on page 22).

Press o. Press R to leave menu mode.

Internal call waiting

When an internal call is in progress, you may receive another call.

You will be informed of this call by a ìcall waitingî tone in the earpiece and the t symbol will blink on the display.

To answer the waiting call:

￿Press t to end the call in progress.

Your handset(s) will ring, announcing the outside call.

Press t (or H ) to answer the waiting call.

Setting up Baby Sit

The Baby Sit function allows you to monitor sounds in another room (e.g. the babyís room). Because Baby Sit is a special type of internal call, it requires two handsets of type Oniso 6816: one left in the babyís room and one you keep with you (the parent handset). For detailed information, see your extra handset user manual.
