Enter Letters

Switch the keyboard to enter capital or small letters: Press ô Select. Using [ select whether you would like to enter capital or small letters. Confirm with OK. Press and hold * (at least two seconds) to toggle between capital and small letters.

Press ô Select. Using [ select INSERT CHAR. to enter a character. Con- firm with OK.

Press ô Select. Using [ select CAN- CEL to delete the entire text. Confirm with OK. Confirm the deletion with ô Yes.

5Confirm with OK.

6Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad or select a saved entry.

7Confirm with OK.

8Press ô Confirm to send the message. Press õ EDIT ENTRY to edit the message again.

After sending you can save the SMS. Using

ôselect Yes to save the message. Press õ No to delete the message.

Sending SMS from the Telephone Book

You can select an entry from the telephone book and then call the SMS menu.

1Short press m to call up the telephone book of the device. Long press m (at least two seconds) to call up the telephone book of the cordless telephone.

2Using [, dial the desired entry.

3Press ô Option.

4Using [ select SEND SMS.

5Confirm with OK. The Send SMS Menu appears.

SMS Messages to E-Mail

(Function is not supported in all countries and networks)

You can send an SMS to an E-Mail address.

1Press _.

2Using [ select EDIT EMAIL.

3Confirm with OK.

4Enter the text as described under Sending SMS.

5Confirm with OK.

6Enter the e-mail address. Press and hold 0 until the @ character appears.

E-Mail addresses must not contain a space.

7Confirm with OK.

8Press ô Confirm to send the message. Press õ EDIT ENTRY to edit the message again.

SMS Messages to Fax

(Function is not supported in all countries and networks)

You can send an SMS as a fax to a fax machine.

You can have an SMS message sent to a telephone number of your choice when faxes or SMS messages are received or the answering machine receives calls or voice messages in your absence.

1Press OK, 65 and OK.

2 Use [ to select whether you would like to be informed about new SMS messages.

3Confirm with OK.

4 Use [ to select whether you would like to be informed about calls in your absence.

6 Use [ to select whether you would like to be informed about new fax messages.

8 Use [ to select whether you would like to be informed about new messages on the answering machine.
