1 192 kHz/96 kHz indicator

- DTS indicator

Indicates a DVD disc containing high-sampling rate

Indicates DTS audio playback.

(192 kHz/96 kHz) audio is playing.

 

2 V-PART indicator

= DOLBY DIGITAL indicator

Indicates Dolby Digital audio playback.

Indicates that video part of DVD discs playback.

3ANGLE indicator

Indicates Multi-Angle playback is in progress (page 39).

~REMAIN indicator

Indicates that the remaining playback time of a title or chapter/track is being displayed.

4GRP/TITLE indicator

Indicates a group/title number is being displayed.

5REPEAT indicator

Indicates that the Repeat function is on and that the current title, chapter, or track is being repeated (page 54).

6TRK/CHP indicator

Indicates a track/chapter number is being displayed.

7GUI indicator

Indicates a player menu operation is being performed (page 20).

8LAST MEMORY indicator

Indicates the Last Memory location is recorded in memory for the currently loaded DVD or Video CD (page 59).

9COND. MEMORY indicator

Indicates that Condition Memory settings are memorized for the currently loaded DVD (page 61).

!Counter display

Displays the playback mode, type of disc, title and chapter/track numbers, playback time, etc.

@Program Format indicators

During multichannel audio playback, indicate which channels are present in the soundtrack.

L : Left front *1*2, C : Center *1, R : Right front *1*2,

LS : Left surround*1, S : Surround (mono) *1*2,

RS : Right surround*1,

LFE : The LFE (low frequency effects) channel indicator indicates 5.1 channel audio that contains a channel for low frequency sounds that are used by the sub woofer*1

*1 : Indicates DVD-Audio, Dolby Digital, DTS or MPEG playback.

*2 : Indicates Dolby Pro Logic playback.

#DOWNMIX indicator

During multichannel audio playback, indicates that the output signal has been “downmixed” from the original audio source. This is an automatic function performed by the player in order to present the most appropriate audio mix to the speakers present in your system.

0TOTAL indicator

Indicates that the disc in the player is stopped and DISPLAY has been pressed (page 62).
