2To exit the repeat mode, press RPT (REPEAT on the remote control) again. The All icon appears on the TV screen.

Note

On a Video CD with PBC, you must set PBC to Off on the setup menu. Refer to PBC on page 26.

Time search

The Time Search function allows you to start playing at any chosen time on the disc.

1Press DISPLAY on the remote control during playback.

The on-screen display appears on the screen. The Time Search box shows the elapsed play- ing time of the current disc.

2Within 10 seconds, press a/b to select the Time Search icon in the on-screen dis- play.

The – :– : – – appears in the Time Search box.

3Within 10 seconds, use the number but- tons to enter the required start time.

Enter hours, minutes, and seconds from left to right in the box.

4Within 10 seconds, press ENT to con- firm the start time.

Playback starts from the selected time on the

disc.

# If you enter an invalid time, playback will con- tinue from the current point.

Disc menu DVD

DVDs may offer menus that allow you to ac- cess special features.

1Press D.MENU (DISC MENU/SET UP on the remote control).

The disc menu is displayed.

2Use a/b/c/d to highlight your selec- tion, then press ENT.

3To remove the disc menu, press

D.MENU (DISC MENU/SET UP on the re- mote control) again.

PBC menu VCD

%Press DISC MENU/SET UP or RETURN on the remote control to return to the menu screen. Menu settings and operating proce- dures may differ. Follow the instructions

on the each menu screen.

Camera angle DVD

If the disc contains scenes recorded at differ- ent camera angles, you can change to a differ- ent camera angle during playback.

%Press ANGLE repeatedly on the remote control during playback to select a desired angle.

The number of the current angle appears on the display.
