Disconnectthe negative terminal of the
battery before installation.
Securethe wiring withcable clamps or ad-
hesivetape. To protect the wiring, wrap ad-
hesivetape around them wherethey lie
againstmetal parts.
Placeall cablesaway from movingparts,
suchas gearshift and seat rails.
Placeall cablesaway from hotplaces,
suchas nearthe heateroutlet.
Donot pass the yellow cable through a
holeinto the engine compartment to con-
nectto a battery.
Coverany disconnectedcable connectors
withinsulating tape.
Donot shorten any cables.
Nevercut the insulation of the power cable
of this unit in order to share the power
withother devices. Current capacity of the
cableis limited.
Usea fuse of the rating prescribed.
Never wire the speaker negative cable di-
rectlyto ground.
Neverband together multiplespeaker s ne-
gativecables.
!Controlsignal is outputthrough blue/white
cablewhen this unit is powered on. Connect it
toan external power amps system remote
controlor the vehiclesauto -antenna relay
controlterminal (max. 300mA 12V DC). If the
vehicleis equippedwith a glassantenna, con-
nectit tothe antennabooster power supply
terminal.
!Neverconnect blue/whitecable to external
poweramps powerterminal. Also, never con-
nectit to the power terminal of the auto anten-
na. Otherwise, battery drain or malfunction
mayresult.
!Blackcable is ground.This cable and other
productsground cable (especially, high-cur-
rentproducts such aspower amp) must be
wiredseparately. Otherwise, fire or malfunc-
tionmay resultif they are accidentally de-
tached.
Cordfunction may differaccording to thepro-
duct,even if cordcolor isthe same.When con-
nectingthis system, be sureto checkall
manualsand connectcords correctly.
