3 Pressror qto select a letter of the
alphabet.
Eachpress of rwill display a letter of theal-
phabetin A B C ... X Y Z, numbers and sym-
bolsin 1 2 3 ... > [ ] order. Each press of q
willdisplay a letter in the reverse order, such
asZ Y X ... C B A order.
4 Pressnto move the cursor to the
nextcharacter position.
Whenthe desired letter is displayed, press
ntomove the cursor to the next position
andthen select the next letter. Press mto
movebackwards in the display.
5 Movethe cursor to the last position by
pressingnafter entering the title.
Whenyou press none more time, the en-
teredtitle is stored in memor y.
6 PressBAND to return to the playback
display.
Notes
!Titlesremain in memory, even after the disc
hasbeen removed from the magazine, and
arerecalled when the disc is reinserted.
!Afterdata for 100 discs has been stored in
memory,data for a new disc will overwrite the
oldestone.

Displaying disc titles

Youcan display the text information of any
discthat has had a disc title entered.
%PressDISPLAY.
PressDISPLAY repeatedly to switch between
thefollowing settings:
PlaytimeDISC TTL (disc title)
Whenyou select DISC TTL, the title of the cur-
rentlyplaying disc is shown in the display.
#Ifno title has been entered for the currently
playingdisc, NO D-TTL is displayed.

Selecting discs from the disc

title list

Disctitle list lets you see the list of disc titles
thathave been entered into the multi-CD
playerand lets you select one for playback.
1 PressF to select LIST.
PressFuntil LIST appears in the display.
2 Pressmor nto scroll through the
listof titles that have been entered.
#Ifno title has been entered for a disc, title is
notdisplayed.
3 Pressrto play your favorite CD title.
Thatselection will begin to play.
Using CD TEXT functions
Youcan use these functions only with a CD
TEXTcompatible multi-CD player.
Somediscs have certain information encoded
onthe disc during manufacture. These discs
maycontain such information as the CD title,
tracktitle, artists name and playback time
andare called CD TEXT discs. Only these spe-
ciallyencoded CD TEXT discs support the
functionslisted below.
