OPERATION

The DVD-R writing system consists of a personal computer (PC) and the DVD-R Drive.

In order to operate the DVD-R Drive, the accompanying application software and disc driver must be installed on the computer. (If the computer cannot accommodate the accompanying application software and device driver, find alternate software or drivers.)

7Starting Up the DVD-R System

1.Turn ON the power to the DVD-R Drive.

2.Turn ON the power to the PC.

3.Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the tray.

4.Place the disc in the tray with its label side facing up.

5.Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the tray.

6.Start up and run the application program.

7Shutting Down the DVD-R System

1.Terminate the application program.

2.Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the tray.

3.Remove the disc.

4.Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the tray.

5.Turn OFF the power to the PC.

6.Turn OFF the power to the DVD-R Drive.
