When recording a broadcast with a picture size of 16:9 on a VCR and viewing it with this monitor, it is possible to see its original aspect by setting SCREEN mode to ZOOM.

When DTV OUT is turned ON and a broadcast with picture size of 16:9 is received, the SCREEN mode on the monitor changes to ZOOM. When a broadcast with picture size of 4:3 has been received, it is possible to select ZOOM, FULL or 4:3 NORMAL as the SCREEN mode on the monitor.
