Beacon Interval

The period of time that this access point broadcast a beacon. Beacon is used to

 

synchronize the wireless network.

RTS Threshold

When the packet size is smaller the RTS threshold, the access point will not use the

 

RTS/CTS mechanism to send this packet.

DTIM Period

This is the interval of the Delivery Traffic Indication Message (DTIM). A DTIM field is a

 

countdown field informing stations of the next window for listening to broadcast and

 

multicast messages. When the Access Point has buffered broadcast or multicast

 

messages for associated stations, it sends the next DTIM with a DTIM Interval value.
