Caringfor Your Training Computer

WristUnit and Transmitter: Keep in a cool
anddry place. Do not store in a damp
environment,in non-breathable material (a
plasticbag or a sports bag) or with conductive
material(a wet towel). Do not expose to direct
sunlightfor extended periods. Clean with a mild
soapand water solution, dry with towel. Never
usealcohol or any abrasive material (steel wool
orcleaning chemicals). Do not bend or stretch
thetransmitter. This may damage the
electrodes.Do not press the button of your
trainingcomputer under running water.
ElasticStrap: Rinse with water after every use.
Washafter swimming. If used regularly, wash at
leastonce every three weeks in a washing
machineat 40°C / 104°F. Use a washing
pouch.Do not soak, and use neither detergent
withbleach nor fabric softener. Do not
dry-clean,spin-dry or iron.

Battery

TransmitterBattery: If you suspect that the
transmitterbattery has discharged, contact your
authorizedPolar Service Center for a
replacementtransmitter. Polar recycles used
transmitters.
TrainingComputer Battery: Do not open the
trainingcomputer yourself. We recommend that
youhave the battery replaced by an authorized
PolarService Center. They test your training
computerfor water resistance after battery
replacement.
• Thelow battery indicator is displayed when
10-15%of the battery capacity is left.
• Excessiveuse of the backlight drains the
batterymore rapidly.
• Incold conditions, the low battery indicator
mayappear, but will disappear when the
temperaturerises.
