About the Flash

This camera is equipped with 3 flash modes.

1. Auto Flash (default setting)

a. The camera determines when flash is needed and fires the flash automatically.

b.When the flash is recharged and full (the green Flash Ready LED will light up), press the Shutter-Release Button to take a flash photograph. (Fig. 12)

2.Fill-in Flash

a. This camera also has a Fill-in flash function that helps obtain better pictures in daylight shooting when your subject is in a shadow or has their back to

the light source. The flash will fire regardless of the lighting conditions.

b.Press and hold the Fill-in Flash Button while, at the same time, pressing the Shutter-Release Button to take a picture with Fill-in flash. (Fig. 13)

Note:

•Please wait for the green Flash Ready LED to light up before taking your next flash picture.

•The green Flash Ready LED will go into sleep mode after about 1 minute. The camera will re-awaken when the Shutter-Release Button is pressed or by closing and re-opening the Lens Cover.
