Multiple Keys Per L ine
Each line on the phone can be configure d to have more than one li ne key associated wi th it. In this case, the
display would look like the following:
Multiple Call A ppearance
Each line on the phone can be configure d to have one or more cal l appearances. Mo re than one call ap pearance
is useful if there is an active call and an i ncoming call ring s on the same line. In the first example o n the right,
extension 0 is in an o utbound call with 0. The second exa mple shows an inco ming call from John Brown.
To answer the call, put the or iginal call on hol d or press the key to a ccess the new call. Softkey labels are
updated on the display w ith the following op tions:
Answer the incomin g call. This place s the original cal l on hold and refres hes the softkey lab els as shown
in the third example. If m ore than two call ap pearances are in u se, two appear on th e display and the tota l
number is indicated by a counter at the bottom right corner of the display. For example, “ /” indicated that
the highlighted call i s the second one ou t of a total of three.
Reject the incomin g call.
Forward the incom ing call to another ex tension.
In the example, another o utbound call can be placed on the sam e first line.
. Press Hold duri ng the first call.
. Press NewCall to obtain a dial tone an d a new call appear ance for a second c all.
