Call Hold and Res ume
. Press or the Ho ld softkey. The call is pla ced on hold and is i ndicated on the dis play.
. Press the Resum e softkey or the line but ton to retrieve the cal l.
Multiple Calls on Hold
You can use the arrow keys to switc h between calls, th en press the Resu me softkey to retrieve a c all when
multiple calls are on hold on a single lin e. An indicator app ears on the display if more than two cal ls are on hold
on a single key. For example, “ /” shows that this is the second call ou t of three calls.
The details o f calls on a ny line key c an be viewed by pressin g that line ke y and holdi ng it down fo r a few
seconds if c alls are on h old on more than one li ne. If a line key is press ed briefly, t he first ca ll on hold o n that
line is retri eved.
General Key Use
Following are tips to navi gate through menus a nd enter data.
. Use and to scro ll through lists. In some lists, the an d keys can be used a s
Page Up and Page Down.
. Use and to move o ne level down or one l evel back up when me nus have submenus.
. Press the ke y to exit from any menu.
. Press the ke y to exit from any direc tory.
. Press the number keys one or more times to enter text using the d ial pad. For example, f or A press 2,
for C press 222. The display title shows whether keys will generate nu mbers when in text entry mode.
Conferencing
You can create a conference w ith two other part ies using the loca l conferencing fe ature. You can also create a
conference between an active call and a call that is on hold o n the same line by pre ssing the Join sof tkey.
. Place a call to the f irst party.
. Press or th e Confrnc soft key to create a new call (th e active call is plac ed on hold.
. Dial the phone nu mber of the second p arty.

. Use the arrow keys to ac cess speed dial n umbers, missed, p laced, and receive d call lists.
. Press the Dial s oftkey.
. Press or th e Confrnc soft key again to join the pa rties in the confe rence.

. Press the Spli t softkey to put the first call on hold and kee p the second call a s the active call.
Note: Ending a call o n the originator’s phon e terminates the conf erence.
