ON/STOP SWITCH

TheON/STOP SWITCH isused tostop the en-
gine. Tos topthe engine, mov ethe s witch to the
STOP position.

PRIMERBUTTON

The PRIMER BUTTON remov es air from the
carburetorandfuellines and fills themwith fuel.
This allowsyou to start the engine withfewer
pulls on the starter rope. Activate primer button
bypressi ng it and allowing it to return to i ts origi-
nal position.

CHOKELEVER

The CHOKE helps to s upply fuel to the engine
to aid in cold starting. Activate the choke by
moving the choke lever to the CLOSE position.
Once engine starts, move choke lever to the
OPEN position .

THROTTLEADJUSTER

TheTHROTT LEADJ USTER can be used to
select the speedof ai r flow. Toavoid holding
yourfi nger on the throttle trigger all the ti me,
therequired speed can be set with the throttle
adjuster. Full throttle is obtained by squeez-
ingthe throttle trigger and movi ng the throttle
adjuster clockwise until it stops.

protection is required.
STor educe the risk of injury associated with
contacting rotating parts, stop the engine be-
fore installingor removing attachments.Do
not operate without guard(s) in place.
SOperatepower equi pment only at reasonable
hours--notearly in the m orning or late at night
whenpeople mi ght be disturbed. Comply with
times listed in local ordinances. Usual recom-
mendations are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday though Saturday.
SToreduce noise levels, limit the number of
pieces of equipment used atany onetime.
STo reduce noise levels, operate power
blowers at the lowest possible throttle
speedto do the job.
SUserakes andbrooms to loosen debris be-
foreblow ing.
SIn dusty conditions, slightly dampen sur-
facesor use a mister attachment when wa-
ter is available.
SConserve water by using power blowers
instead of hoses for many lawn and garden
applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens,patios,grills, porches, andgardens.
SWatchout for children, pets, openwindows ,
or freshly washed cars. Blow debris away
safely.
