Read and understandthe following notes while planning your installation:
1. Refer to national and localelectric codes for acceptable external wiring practices.
2. Materialand labor for external wiring requirements are to be provided by others.
3. Forexternal wiring requirement, including theminimum AWG size of external wiring,see the appropriate column in TableA ---3.
The power wiring for this equipment is rated at 90 degrees Celsius.
4. The outputof the UPS is not a separately derived source. Output neutral is notbonded to equipment ground through the main
bondingjumper. Refer to NEC and localcodes for proper grounding practices.
5. The maintenance bypass (MBM) source must contain overcurrent protection with the maximum trip setting of 125% of the full
load input current in Table A---3.
6. The Bypassthree-phase feeds should be symmetrical aboutg round.
7. Transfer sequence instructionsfor the MBM are placed on the breaker access panel behind the cabinet d oors.
8. Controlwiring must be installed in separate conduitfrom the power wiring.
9. Electronicinterlockis a standard part of the maintenance bypassmodule cabinet. This electronicinterlock can be replacedwith
an optional(extra cost) mechanical interlock if required.
10. Refer toUPS Installation Manual for proper bypassterminating lugs at UPS cabinet or at inputtransformer cabinet.
11. Refer toTable C-2 for control wiring connections.
