FEATURES & SETUP- SIDE PANEL: CROSSOVER & DELAY NETWORK SELECTION & INSTALLATION

Turn the power to the amplifier off before removing or installing SIPs!

The SIPs may be installed “either way”. The SIPs are symmetrical and thus perform identically no matter which end points to the left or right. This completely eliminates “polarity” errors that might otherwise arise.

The side cover plate must be removed to access the SIP sockets. Be sure to reinstall the side cover plate after installing the SIPs.

Before installing the SIP (as shown right) ensure that the pins are straight. This will ease insertion into the jack and help to avoid damaging the pins due to misaligned insertion.

NOTE: Reinstall the side cover plate after SIP installation to keep dust, dirt, and foreign objects from entering the internal circuitry of the amplifier. Failure to do so could result in damage to the amplifier should any such material enter the chassis.
