CONNECTIONS
CATV Drop Cable
Coaxial Cable
Caution: Use only coaxial cable (not supplied) to make the connec- tions. Your local RadioShack store carries suitable cable.
1.Remove the plastic cover from the input and output terminals.
2.Connect the CATV’s drop cable to the amplifier’s INPUT terminal.
3.Connect the amplifier’s OUT/+7 dB terminal(s) to the 75 ohm input terminal of your TV, VCR, or dwelling network.
4.Connect the supplied AC adapter’s barrel plug to the amplifier’s
Cautions:
You must use a Class 2 power source that supplies 12V
!DC and delivers at least 200 mA. Its center tip must be set to positive and its plug must fit the amplifier's
DC 200 mA jack. The supplied adapter meets these specifications. Using an adapter that does not meet these specifications could damage the amplifier or the adapter.
•Always connect the AC adapter to the amplifier before you con- nect it to AC power. When you finish, disconnect the adapter from AC power before you disconnect it from the amplifier.

•This amplifier is designed to amplify existing signals and to deliver a strong signal through multiple
•To avoid signal loss, reflections, or “shadows” in your picture, out- put terminals that are not connected to a receiver should be termi- nated using the supplied terminating resistors.
