If your CID is not working as it should,

these suggestions might help you elimi-

nate the problem.

Problem Suggestions

Display is
blank. Replace the batteries. See
“Installing Batteries/Setup”
on Page10.
You have an
incoming call,
but do not
receive any
call informa-
tion.
Someone picked up a tele-
phone on the same phone
line before the CID recorded
the call record. This is not a
malfunction.
Check that the CID is cor-
rectly and securely con-
nected.
Call your phone company to
verify that your Caller ID ser-
vice is active.
