SPARK ARRESTER
RedMax engines are equipped with a spark arresting screen at the exhaust port. Periodically check and keep it in good condition. In the State of California it is required by law (Section 4442 of the California Public Resources Code) to have a spark arrester when a gas powered tool is used in any forest covered, brush covered, or grass covered unimproved land. 10. Storage
1.Empty the fuel tank and run the engine out of fuel.
2.Empty the oil tank.
3.Clean the entire unit.
4.Store the unit in a dry place out of the reach of children.
