El UA-787REL provee una lectura promedio de la presión arterial en base al total de las lecturas guardadas en la memoria. La lectura promedio de las mediciones de la presión arterial aparece brevemente cuando se recuperan las mediciones guardadas en la memoria.

El Indicador de clasificación de la presión o Pressure Rating Indicator™ es una función que

provee una imagen instantánia de la clasificación de la presión arterial sobre la base de sus medi-

ciones registradas. Esto le permitirá interpretar con rapidez el significado de las lecturas de su

presión arterial. Cada segmento de la barra indicadora corresponde al Séptimo Informe del Comité Nacional Conjunto (JNC7) para la Prevención, la Evaluación y el tratamiento de la Presión Arterial Elevada del Instituto Nacional del Corazón, los Pulmones y la Sangre (NHLBI,

National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute), de mayo de 2003. Para revisar está clasificación de la presión arterial con mayor detenimiento, consulte la sección “Evaluación de la presión arterial elevada” en la pagina S-13.

:El indicador muestra un segmento, sobre la base de la medición actual, que corresponde a la clasificación del JNC7.

NOTA: el Indicador de clasificación de la presión es una aproximación ya que existen otros factores de riesgo (por ejemplo, la diabetes, la obesidad, el hábito de fumar, etc.) además de la medición de la presión arterial.
