1.Haga el primer corte a quince cent’metros del tronco del ‡rbol, del lado inferior de la rama. Utilice el lado superior de la barra de gu’a para realizar este corte. Atraviese la rama hasta llegar a 1/3 de su di‡metro. (vea la Figura 11).

2.Despl‡cese entre cinco y diez cent’metros hacia el extremo de la rama. Haga el segundo corte desde la parte superior de al misma. Atraviese la rama completamente hasta cortarla.

3.Haga el tercer corte tan cerca del tronco como sea posible, del lado inferior de la rama. Utilice la parte superior de la barra de gu’a. Atraviese la rama hasta alcanzar 1/3 de su di‡metro.

4.Haga el cuarto corte directamente encima del tercero. Corte hacia abajo hasta unirse al tercer corte. De esta manera conseguir‡ retirar la base de la rama.
