Installation of the speakers
Your speakers are set up correctly, if your favourite listening position and the speakers form an approximately
equilateral triangle. The speakers should radiate from an acoustically hard environment
with good reverberation characteristics into the more energised part of the listening area. The best sound results can be achieved if the speakers are positioned roughly at ear height (± 30 cm/ ± 12 in).
Please note that positioning the speakers opposite to large and smooth walls can always cause unpleasant reflections. The sound radiation should not be impeded by the presence of other objects between you and the speakers. You should have a clear line of sight to your speakers.
Installation as Shelf speaker
When installing your speakers on shelves, you must ensure that there is a distance of at least 20 cm between the speakers and any other objects. This guarantees correct sound radiation as well as achieving an efficient effect from the bass reflex opening.
Installation as Center speaker
The L 34 can also be operated when installed horizontally, thanks to its very homogeneous emissions, both vertically and horizontally. This makes it possible to deploy the Re:sound L 34 as a Center speaker for home cinema. Please also see the previous figure, Stereo triangle.

Warning: Exposure to sunlight Avoid installing the speaker in a location where it will be exposed to direct sunlight. Otherwise, the UV in the sun’s rays can cause irreversible colour changes to the leather.
