C.If the device has been exposed to rain or water.
D.If the device does not operate normally when the operating instructions are fol- lowed. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions since improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often required extensive work by a qualified techinician to restore the product to nor- mal operation.
E.If the device has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
F.If the device exhibits a distinct change in performance, indicating a need for service.
14.Make sure that the wall outlet is near the scanner and easily accessible.
15.The main plug on this equipment must be used to disconnect main power.
