TEXT MODE	Use when capturing text images, for example
	notes written on a whiteboard at a meeting.

ZOOM MACRO Use when taking a further close-up picture during macro shooting. Using the digital zoom allows you to take a larger close-up than with normal macro shooting. For detailed operations, see P.40.

Note

•The optical zoom cannot be used in this mode.

•You can shoot close-ups within the following distances from the front of the lens.

When digital zoom is not used:

About 1 cm from the front of the lens

Shooting range: 23 mm × 17 mm

When 3.6× digital zoom is used:

About 1 cm from the front of the lens

Shooting range: 6.4 mm × 4.7 mm

HIGH SENS	Use when taking pictures in dimly lit places. The
	LCD monitor also becomes brighter.

1. Switch the Mode Selector to 5.

2. Press the SCENE button.

The Scene Mode selection screen appears.
