Choosing Picture Quality Mode/Image Size

(PIC QUALITY/SIZE)

The size of a stored still image depends on the Picture Quality Mode and image size settings.

There are two Picture Quality Modes: N (Normal) and F (Fine).

Picture Quality Modes

Normal

The compression ratio is high, resulting in a small file. Normally,

Fine

The compression ratio is low, resulting in a large file, but the picture

In Movie Mode, you can select 320 × 240 or 160 × 120.

When Scene Mode is set to [TEXT MODE], you can select 2816 × 2112 or 2048 × 1536.
