Using QuattroDrive
Playing a VCD or DVD
To play a VCD or DVD:
1.Connect the QuattroDrive as described in Connecting to a TV or Projector on page 5.
2.Press the eject button at the front of the QuattroDrive.
3.Insert a VCD or DVD into the QuattroDrive and close the drive. The DVD should automatically start playing.
4.A DVD’s audio, subtitle, and menu will automatically be set depending on the available languages on the DVD and the settings as described in PREFERENCES on page 15.
Basic Functions
Other functions that are available while playing a movie are:
•OSD – Cycles through the elapsed and remaining times for both title and chapter.
•ANGLE – Displays the movie from a different camera angle. Only available on DVDs that have been recorded with different camera
angles and ANGLE MARK, indicated by in the top right corner of the OSD, has been turned on as described in GENERAL SETUP on page 11.
•TITLE – Displays the title of the DVD movie.
•PAUSE – Pauses playback of a multimedia file. Press this again to continue playback or press the PLAY button.
•PBC – If a video CD has “Playback control” (PBC) written on its disc, it means that particular scenes or information can be selected for inter- active viewing. Press this button to use this feature.
•ZOOM – Cycles through three zoom levels: 1.5x, 2x, 3x, and zoom off. Does not work with audio.
•AUDIO – Cycles through the DVD’s available audio languages.
