ARMADIETTI RACCOMANDATI

Questo manuale delinea due tipi specifici di armadietti che forniscono prestazioni nettamente diverse. Questa sezione vi aiuterà a decidere quale tipo di armadietto si adatta meglio alle vostre applicazioni.

ARMADIETTI A TENUTA

Gli armadietti a tenuta sono i più semplici da costruire. La cosa più importante è di assicurarsi che l’armadietto sia a tenuta d’aria. Un pò di colla e qualche tipo di sigillante sparso lungo le giunzioni renderanno più solida la costruzione ed impediranno le fughe d’aria. Il volume della scatola influirà direttamente sulle prestazioni dell’altoparlante. Armadietti a dimensioni più grandi daranno luogo sia ad una risposta più piatta che a toni bassi più profondi mentre quelli aventi dimensioni più piccole daranno luogo ad un sobbalzo nella curva di risposta e ad un rendimento generalmente più alto per un SPL maggiore.

Vantaggi degli armadietti a tenuta:

•Armadietti piccoli

•Risposta lineare (piatta)

•Nessuna rumorosità proveniente da fori

•Buon comando dell’alta potenza a tutte le frequenze

•Eccellente qualità dell’audio

ARMADIETTI A FORO

Gli armadietti a foro variano da quelli a tenuta solo per l’aggiunta di un foro per “sintonizzare”

l’armadietto. Gli armadietti raccomandati sono stati progettati per fornire prestazioni complessive ottimali. Gli armadietti a dimensioni più grandi sono generalmente più facili da sintonizzare a basse frequenze mentre quelli aventi dimensioni medie o piccole sono più facili da sintonizzare a frequenze più alte. Il disegno a foro è meno lineare in risposta di quello a tenuta ma è in grado di produrre un rendimento notevolmente più alto alla frequenza di sintonizzazione.

Vantaggi degli armadietti a foro:

•Rendimento medio più alto rispetto agli armadietti a tenuta.

•Frequenza di sintonizzazione facilmente regolabile modificando la lunghezza del foro

•Risposta più profonda nei toni bassi con requisiti di potenza minori

•Ideale per alto rendimento a potenza limitata

CONFIGURAZIONI DEL CABLAGGIO

Ci sono tre configurazioni per poter collegare alcuni altoparlanti ad un amplificatore—le configurazioni in serie, in parallelo, e serie-parallelo. Una configurazione in serie consiste di due o più altoparlanti cablati in sequenza (estremità ad estremità). Una configurazione in parallelo consiste di due o più altoparlanti cablati in modo che i terminali comuni siano collegati l’uno attraverso l’altro.Una configurazione serie-parallelo è una combinazione tra i due metodi. Determinate quale metodo sarà più compatibile con il vostro amplificatore.
